You keep saying
You got something for me
Something you call love
But confess
You've been a messer
Where you shouldn't have been a messing
And now someone else is getting
all your best
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
You keep lying
When you ought to be truthing
And you keep losing
When you ought a not bad
You keep sameing that
When you ought to be a changing
Now, what's right is right
But you ain't been right yet
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
You got something for me
Something you call love
But confess
You've been a messer
Where you shouldn't have been a messing
And now someone else is getting
all your best
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots
Are gonna walk all over you
You keep lying
When you ought to be truthing
And you keep losing
When you ought a not bad
You keep sameing that
When you ought to be a changing
Now, what's right is right
But you ain't been right yet
These boots are made for walking
And that's just what they'll do
